Day 4: C.I.T.Y Olympics

Today at C.I.T.Y. Summer Leadership Camp was even more exciting than usual because the leaders were enlightened on career paths through the “Career Fair” which held in the morning and the C.I.T.Y. Olympics which took place in the evening providing both leaders and volunteers a healthy mix of fun and education.

Photo Challenge

We have no winner for Day 3 Photo challenge ”Celebrating first time Volunteers” as all our volunteers are important and special to us.

Photo Challenge - WINNER Day 3

The photo challenge for Day 4 is “C.I.T.Y. Olympics”. We are supposed to highlight the athletic side of our leaders across the four locations. The four locations were very creative in their presentation of the athletic qualities of the leaders. Enjoy!

Camp Experience:

I have really learnt how to be friendly and how to sit-up right; speak out in front of a crowd; to “kill” stage fright and how to discover my purpose.

My experience in CITY has been impactful, inspiring and has also challenged me to be the best I can be. I have heard stories of career persons which have also motivated me to push myself to the top.

Camp Experience:

The camp has been fun, exciting, educative and full of new experiences. I have been learning what it takes to be a leader – a great one, and is learning still so that I can contribute to making the world a better place.

Name: Olaleye Busola

Location: Lagos/Ota

Camp Experience: Challenging. Everyday pushes me harder to become a better person in every aspect. Interacting with the leaders has taught me new ways of responding to situations, to proffer solutions to challenges as they come. Hmmm…I don’t know if this makes sense but helping them build is building me; you get?
