We made a call to youth corpers passionate about community development  and nation building willing to commit  a period of November 2015 to November 2016 to impact over 6000 Students across Nigeria.

Over 100 Youth Corpers applied for the CITY fellows program 2016 and 55 were selected representing 19 states.  We had an orientation programme over the weekend at  our eagles hope Office .

The C.I.T.Y Fellows, 2016 Orientation was held on the 21st of May, 2016. The orientation commenced at 11 a.m. with some C.I.T.Y Fellows present at the venue and many connected with us online due to distance, as many are already in their respective states of deployment.

Remi Ademiju (HOPE Foundation, Operations Executive) received everyone to the orientation, telling the purpose of the meeting and introducing all other team members.

Shortly, we received Femi Taiwo (HOPE Foundation, Executive Director) who spoke on the vision of HOPE, why the foundation was birthed, the C.I.T.Y Fellows program and what must be achieved after this program.

We also had Chinenye Chijioke-Osueze (C.I.T.Y Fellows Project Manager) who spoke about the structure of the program, objectives, scope and expectations. Demilade Aremu (HR Lead), briefed us on the Code of Conduct, reporting system and communication channel. Finally we had Mercy Lawal (C.I.T.Y Fellows, Learning & Development Lead) give us a brief on the self-development courses and the Learning Management System, Eliademy platform.

After all that was addressed, a lot of time was spent answering the questions Fellows had earlier sent to the team. We also had more time to answer the questions the Fellows present had to ask.
