The Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) is a signature effort to invest in the next generation of African leaders by United States of America. The programme was launched in 2010 by President Barack Obama to support young African leaders as they spur growth and prosperity, strengthen democratic governance and enhance peace and security across Africa. Since 2010, the Fellowship has raised and mentors thousands of young Africans to be able to change the environment where they live and make them international by connecting with other Africans.

Upon her return, Kemi has commenced several other initiatives to raise young leaders, and especially to provide solutions to Africa’s teeming problems, particularly in the public sector space.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][ultimate_spacer height=”10″][vc_single_image image=”925″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row centered=”yes”][vc_column width=”1/3″][ultimate_spacer height=”10″][vc_single_image image=”1137″ img_size=””][/vc_column][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_separator el_width=”80″][ultimate_heading main_heading=”LEAP AFRICA AWARD” heading_tag=”h3″ alignment=”left” main_heading_font_family=”font_family:Montserrat|font_call:Montserrat|variant:700″ main_heading_style=”font-weight:700;” main_heading_font_size=”desktop:20px;” main_heading_margin=”margin-bottom:25px;”][/ultimate_heading][vc_column_text]In November 2015, our founding Executive Director, Femi Taiwo was among the 20 change makers honoured with a Leap Africa Social Innovators Program Fellowship.
