Bothered about the flood crisis that swamped several parts of Nigeria in October / November 2012, and the relative unresponsiveness to the plight of affected communities, we decided to launch a relief campaign- The Project iRespond.

In doing this, we had two objectives in mind: to raise relief materials for affected persons and communities; and to inspire as many people as possible to join us in doing so. We sought to inspire a culture of love and empathy amongst many. For us, a million naira or a truckload of materials from a hundred people was worth much more than double that from a single individual. The result was phenomenal!

Following the success of the Project iRespond, we decided to keep the Project alive- with a decision to respond to local, national or international social concern each year and inspire the support of as many people as possible who would join in saying “I Respond”!
